Interesting concept that my friend and husband are laughing about. Is it unConstitutional to elect a dead guy?
Let's re-elect Garfield. He died early in his term, so he didn't really have a chance. Let's have Washington as his running mate, or maybe Lincoln.
Any ideas for good tickets?
(Incidentally....if we elected a dead guy, then his running mate would have to take office. If his running mate is also dead, then the Secretary of State would take office.)
Just for absurdity sakes: Powell/Rice ticket on the Republican side of things. They aren't dead, but what would the Democrats throw up? Minorities, and one is a woman, and on the Republican ticket?!
(Please pardon me. My meds haven't kicked in yet.)
