    TCG "Over Limit Protection"

    I have an inactive account with TCG..i just took look at their site again and noticed something like that in "pay info".


    OVER LIMIT PROTECTION:
    Program which is calculated per day. Should your total traffic not convert better than 0/500 - 0/1000, we pay you $5.00. Conversion ratios over 0/1001 will receive $10.00 and so on.

    Could anyone explain it?
    Does it mean i can buy 10k chinese traffic that converts worse than 1:10000 and they will ay me $100 because their sites didnt convert for me?

    Nah, but seriously, could anyone explain it?

      Hi there, when we launched tcg3 we enacted the over limit protection.
      Reason being was that we were so confident in the quality of our sites, we felt if you, the webmaster sent us traffic- we would make it convert.
      If we don't we pay you....

      This program is calculated per day. Should your total traffic not convert better than 0/500 - 0/1000, we pay you $5.00. Conversion ratios over 0/1001 will receive $10.00 and so on.

      It was not meant to be place to send your crappiet of crap traffic to.. we don't take advantage of our Webmasters and we ask for the same consideration back.

                  sweet deal, but i've never had it triggered since they convert so well

                              Sure, that was a joke, but i wasn't sure really what it is, since i have never seen it somewhere else.

                              Two more questions:
                              1. Ratios are calculated as 2nd page uniques, right?
                              2. Let's take an exmple - f.e if i send you only 700 hits ( or 700 2nd page uniques ) and make 2 sales that day - i will earn $70.
                              But the next day i send the same amount and make no sales, so you will simply add $5 to my account for that day?
                              I don't use ICQ anymore.

                                      Naw, actually i knew you were kidding about sending the crap traffic, i just wanted to make that point since i figured it *might give some other wonderful webmasters some bad ideas ;p

                                      Now to answer your 2 above referenced questions...
                                      1. Yes if you send 2 joins and 700 uniques you will earn $70
                                      2. Yes if you then send (next day) 700 uniques and get no joins you will be paid $5
