SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
Ok folks check this out. I do NOT have any Alexa toolbar installed at all. Now I'm running SpySweeper and look what it finds everytime again when you restart IE:
Originally posted by LoveHenk now i get it! you mean that alexa is installed on every pc that has ie6. therefore, the stats are accurate since many peeps have ie6, right?
well, i will download spysweeper and check it out myself. espcially since my pc was formatted 2 weeks ago.
yes, that's exactly what I mean.
Please let me know the results and or that you have the Google toolbar installed or not. I have installed XP too less than 2 weeks ago, but use the Google toolbar
i use noting, no pop ups no google toolbars, this shit only slows the things down.
anyway this is what i got:
you see, it says alexa toolbar, but in fron of it you see "AD", dunno what this means. when I click on the plus sign I get like 8 registry entries.
Firthermore, check this out, from the spysweeper site: Method of Infection:
The Alexa toolbar is bundled with Windows XP, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, and with some new Dell computers. The toolbar is also available for download at Alexa?s Web site (http://www.alexa.com) and at other shareware and partner sites.
You see, its standard with internet explorer. Furthermnore, Alexa has sold private info in the past.
