    HomeLand Security did a great job

    a friend of mine went to pennsylvania this weekend to buy a shitload of fireworks with his van. so he bought everything and was driving back home to Long Island here in NY.

    i'm talking about a $3000 worth of fireworks.

    so as he's going over the Verazano bridge an undercover car pulls him over. then 5 more cars showed up on the scene, all of them undercover agents and they have my friend exit the van.

    It seems that the large amount of fireworks in his van set off alarms as he got onto the bridge

    so the agents were cool enough to not arrest him for having the fireworks, but they confescated all of them.

    hoooray for homeland security, but this is gonna fuck up the big 4th of july party i was gonna go to

      Well, i suppose it's good to know that they're actually doing their job and are effective. Gotta make you feel good in that respect.

          thats what i'm saying. i never had a clue that they had installed some sort of sensors on the bridges around here, but it makes me feel sooooo much better that they do

                      lmfao, the way he told the story was wayyy funnier. he did almost shit himself, because of the way he was approached and all.

                      but he did say that the agents were really nice and were making jokes about everything afterward.

                          It's a setup, the fireworks dealer called the feds on him and they'll deliver them back to the store. Easiest $3000 they ever made

                          You're friend goes back home empty handed and won't even feel robbed but safe to know the feds are looking out for this stuff. Great isn't it

                              lol, i wish it was that simple...but i left out more details for the sake of keeping the reading short.

                              there was no way for the store to even know the route he was gonna take back home............and the feds would never stay on the lookout for a van across all of those bridges and tunnels just for $3000 worth of fireworks
