The new economy for the USA all lies in finance. For example more than 50% of central america's GDP goes to paying its debt to the USA. We are doing the same in IRAQ. That country will owe the USA 80 billion + interest. The only way they will be able to pay us back is by the USA creating a true middle class in IRAQ. All stable economies require a middle class for this exact purpose.... to grow GDP. What left wing morons fail to realize is the long term benefit of capital expenditure in IRAQ will generate spectacular revenue for the United States for many years to come.

We spend to much on our own problems as it is. Most of our problems do not need more money of all things.

Money ussually just creates more problems.

How is it strengthining anything?

We blow BILLIONS on war, then BILLIONS on fixing up that foreign country ... meanwhile we have countless situations that can use some cash flow right here in our home town!

everything from school system funding to homeless situations, and hurricane disasters or whatever.

so many cases where our OWN people can use the money.

But the Govt. cries there is a limited amount of money to help people ...

How do you expect the rich to get ahead if people like you keep bitching about everything.

Again i dont follow this shit close enough to debate anyone, but if it IS how you say it is, it means the US Govt. is running this country as if it were a business. They are taking a large percentage of the profits and putting it back into the "business" in hopes to turn a bigger profit some day.

Problem is, when "some day" finally comes, there will be bigger and more expensive wars and foreign issues we will be tending to .... still not spending on our own shit.

This admin just has taken it all to a new and improved level... let's put the next 5 generations into debt... and we can't even declare bankruptcy for this either.

I thought Bush and his buddies were getting all the contracts to rebuild Iraq through their companies....makes sense now...Bush and his buddies get congress to pay 'their' weapons companies which destroy Iraq then they get the contracts for 'their' companies to rebuild Iraq....double dippings all our winners...apart from the honest American...

Ok rich, here is the basic why and wherefore;
1 After 9-11 bushs approval rating went from 50% to 90%, they need constant fear of terrorism and war to get dubya elected next year. He cant run on anything else.

2 Oil

3 As the prime minister of malaysia recently stated, israel does indeed get other countries to fight for them by proxy. The influence of israel on the united states govt cannot be overemphasized in all this. But of course anyone who even mentions such a thing is automatically branded anti-semitic

4 Bush and his buddies want to install a puppet govt there, they think they can have control and influence of a middle eastern country with the second largest oil reserves in the world.

5 Bush and his neo-con friends and advisors want to show the world how big and badass the usa is, ie we are not to be fucked with.

6 Bushs buddies are making billions. First the military industrial complex (which eisenhower warned us about) is making many billions from all the weaponry and assorted costs of running a military operation. And after they destroy things then halliburton etc comes in and makes billions rebuilding. And the sucker taxpayers pay for it all. Meanwhile back in the states there isnt enough money for the social programs that conservatives hate, so by massively increasing military spending and "starving" social spending they accomplish a social agenda of theirs as well.

There are (probably) other reasons for it all too, but thats enough to get you thinking about whats really happening.

you telling me all of a sudden gas prices are gonna go rock bottom because we have connections in iraq ? i dont think so.

No matter who pays for what, or who bombs what, or who controls what .... prices will always go up, never down.

This is something I dont get. Why do so many people think that bush would be doing things so oil prices will come down? Are many of bushs friends from the oil industry? Does anyone actually believe that people in the oil industry want oil prices to go DOWN? Why would bush be doing things that are totally opposite of what his lifelong friends and supporters want? Do people use their brains anymore at all? Geez.

Oh boy these debates go back as far as anyone can remember. Tryin to understand and comprehend the governments logic and what they do regardless of what administration is in the house is useless. NOT 1 single person on this board has any experience in big time politics and running off at the mouth about what you would do or what the Gov should do is hilarious. Live your life already. And while your at it, for all the big time players that are so concerned start handing out money, lord knows you dont need 20k a month to live nicely in the USA. We need more indians NOT chiefs
