              Ive been on both sides of that phone
              and i know as a photographer its annoying but from a model point of view - if they don't know you - it's pretty normal to be dubious about sending photos across

                                  1. This is modeling, if you can't show your face to someone to get some professional work, then

                                  2. I'm a photographer, not a jackass that posts pictures of random clothed people on my website... to do what, sell them? I don't know of any ways to sell photos of random clothed people, but if they know of any... why don't they tell me???

                                  3. Anyone serious about this business isn't going to be "afraid" of sending their OH SO PRECIOUS picture to a photographer before I invite them to my studio.

                                                      about 50% of calls on model ads will be time wasters.

                                                              and the reason i say this is:

                                                              1. models looking for a very quick job the day of the call are usually dope fiends.

                                                              2. models who "will do anything" aren't attractive enough to shoot.

                                                              3. models who are just calling for info can better be served by an informational webpage, and if the model is web literate enough to view a web page it makes it easy for her to email you her image or refer you to a URL with her image.

                                                              and, if your websites features original content that you create, every website should have a model inquiry link such as "would you like to appear on this website?"

                                                              you'd be surprised how many model leads you'll get that way.
