Live Feed/Video Feed Providers - GRIPE

Is it just me or has the video plugin market gone to hell in a handbasket?

I've been seeing the same thing on alot of membership websites that I like to keep tabs on.

I'm not up to snuff on the pricing structure of these type feeds - if you pay a montly fee for the initial setup and then pay additional if you want them updated or if you just pay for the feed and they update for the same monthly cost.

If you're providing these type services - update the damned feeds. Is anyone else been seeing the same feeds for months or years?

Could that be a script bug perhaps?

Or the sites themselves have to manually do the updates that the feed providers are offering and they simply aren't doing them?

Just a thought, I don't know how every other provider works.

Good questions and I don't know for sure the answers to them - though I don't think it is a scripting error. I'd lean toward lazy webmasters if they aren't doing the updates if they are provided or lazy providers who sell a package and never update it.

I do know I'd HATE to open a paysite today and try to provide a quality "feed" section and all I'd have to offer is the same feeds paying members have been seeing for a very very long time.

I can't argue with that. That would annoy me if I was a paysite member too.
