Rupert had a shot at going final four if Mark Burnett hadn't fucked with the show and brought people back who were VOTED OUT.
He had Christa, Sandra, and he..........all he needed was one more to have a solid foursome alliance.........
But the dunderhead Burnett had to tinker and now the show's star is gone............he was also one of the most popular Survivor's ever, if not the most popular.

Rupert deserved more than anyone to win the whole thing. Hubby says there's no reason to even watch the show anymore, but I disagree. Fate is a vengeful bitch and she's seen Johnny "fairplay"... I'm looking forward to seeing the bad news that he gets next week. Maybe just once the word "karma" will pop into his little egotistical pea-sized brain.

He SHOULD have been gunning for Jon every fucking week. But nope he kept voting for other people. THAT is stupid.
Jon did not hide the fact he could not be trusted and he NEVER hid the fact he did not like Rupert.
Rupert even KNEW burton and Jon were gunning for him and he STILL did not go after them. What a tard.
The way he played the game sucked. He was a great guy - sucks he lost - but he did it to himself.

Filming will be finished in December and it will air on Feb 1st right after the Super Bowl.
It is taking place at the same islands they're at right now.
Three teams of 6 instead of 2 teams of 8, and to compensate for their experience they start the game out with *nothing*.
And Rupert is *definitely* in. Woohoo!!
Btw, the final Survivor is going to be on Dec. 14 - a two-hour finale followed by a 1-hour reunion with Jeff asking the questions again.Comment

Yes it seems this show rewards weakness and simpering. See Jenna's win over Matthew in last year's show. Now see the 85 lbs when wet and back stabbin' Jon over powerhouse Rupert.
I can understand why they felt threated by big Rupert, and Rupert would have been a target if the normal merge had happened.........but at least with that, he would have had a 3 person alliance with Sandra and Christa.........all he needed was another person and it would have been 4........he could have been in the final 4 then...........
But Mark Burnett had to fuck all this up. Some people are speculating MB wanted Rupert for the All Star show as that is to be assuredly a massive ratings hit. And Rupert is one of the most popular Survivors ever. Who knows? But it makes one wonder as the producers know the inside info on alliances and how the show is going..........clearly lately Rupert was the target:
why have TWO immunities in a row that were "knockout" ones, meaning you could gang up on a member or members in a group mentality and kick them out of the challenge. Makes one wonder.
But oh well. Rupert will go on for sure..........I don't think the man has any idea how much the viewers pulled for him and grew to like him. He will be able to go on and write his own ticket from here.
And that is a good thing
