I am not questioning that someone got sucked into a jet engine. I've <B>seen</B> the clip I think everyone is talking about. If he really went through the engine, though, and not through some exhaust duct or something, he would have been pureed by the blades. That's why I am interested in seeing a news article. If he actually went through the engine and sruvived, I want to know how.

Heres some facts.. That engine is just idling
1. on avg theres 3000 lbs of thrust from an idling jet engine.. he aint clibming the fuck out, he's going exactly where it wants him to go and fast.
2. the exhaust temp of an idling engine is around 870 deg. He doesnt have to shave anymore .. or even worry about shaving because he no longer has skin.
3. none of this matters cause the fucking guy is not getting passed 30+ huge titanium blades doing 600+ rpm.
4. I used to work with an older guy that spent a few years in the navy, he actually seen someone get sucked up into one of these things.. the guy came out as juice.
5. Go read up on how these things work and you'll realize it's time to cut down on the crystal meth.Comment

I think the car video is bogus. I've been looking at it frame by frame.
There is a guy in a white coat and to the right standing next to him is a guy in a black coat.
The car's front left wheel impacts almost directly in front of the black coat guy.
This should put the runner in front of this point considering the car is angled. In fact, just before impact the runner is aligned with the white coat guy. Possibly even a couple feet past him.
The runner is then hit and he flies not forward (at all), but directly to the left.
The guy in the white coat has not moved whatsoever.
The runner takes on a horizontal position, and somehow his legs (his right leg specifially) miss the guy in the white coat and he lands to the right of him.Last edited by Matt 26z; 11-21-2003, 08:48 AM.Comment

I nearly did that to a guy on only my second ever race, he was running across the track to attend a crash, I spun on the oil and went for him, he dropped his fire extingusher and I got to hit that instead of him. He was lucky that time and so was I.
