    What should I do with a "double billed" user?

    Hi I'm new to the whole paysite thing (actually I had a few paysites awhile back but this is the first time I've really gotten into it).

    Anyway what should I do with a user who signed up twice within a 12 minute period? Should I email him and ask him if this was an error as it probably is? I don't want to be charged back.

          Email and call him, best to show your honesty, he might stick with you for long time if he trusts you and likes your site.

          honesty is the best policy always.

              send him an email letting him know the problem and that you can issue a refund to avoid a possible future cb.

                  Thanks for the suggestions.

                  I ended up emailing the guy. He said that he knew and "cancelled the extra charge" but that really just cancelled his reccurring charge. I refunded him for his extra charge.

                  The good thing is that his "other" account is still set to rebill.

                  This paysite thing is going quite well for me, 26 users in 5 days and none have cancelled yet. Hopefully this keeps up.

                                  Is it better to build a paysite yourself, or work up to it, maybe by doing an AVS site?
