    Why do so many people insist on making money online?

    95% of the people working online (adult) cannot even pay their rent with the money they make.

    They come to gfy to beg for shitty jobs, money, try to sell shitty domains etc...anything for a dollar.

    Why the hell wont they find a normal mainstream job? If you cant make enough to pay your rent after 3 months online you never will. No, instead they spend all their time on a piece of shit 5k tgp and ask on gfy why they get no sign ups.

    Give it up already losers.

                                          I know that was a hit on me. I sell the domains because I think its fun and its a nice little extra money. I make enough in this biz to support myself without a regular job, but I do infact have one as well. But I agree with you, if you cant make your rent in 3 months online, hell even 2 months, you dont really belong in this biz.

                                              pish, I know a few people on gfy who could pay their rent with their online poker winnings, much less the money they make from business.

                                              I think a lot of people do online adult business as a hobby or side/part-time project, and their income reflects that. Those of us who are full-time aren't having any problems paying the rent.

                                                  Just because you have been lucky enough to make some money (if you have, I have no clue who you are and don't care.. after all I'm just a newb) doesn't give you the right to judge other webmasters that are trying to break into the biz.

                                                      I do not make a lot at all in adult, but nor do I care, all I've ever asked adult was to pay for beer and cigarettes, other ventures pay for car/rent payments, other ventures etc. etc. etc.

                                                      kinda like diversifying a portfolio for investments, day trading is the next new one .

                                                      some do this some focus on one thing, both should be respected.....

                                                      and GFY? shit i usually just read and read, hardly post, but unlike other nubes, i never claim to know anything here :-)...newbies should have to read for 6 months before they post anything, i know i did!

                                                                              I'm really not making any real money.. but honestly I didn't really start pushing anything intill last month or two.. I'm just now starting to get some decent traffic across my sites.. I also took the longer route and didn't really jump right in, as I took quite a bit of time and researched what I wanted to do. Now I'm just trying to put it all together.

                                                                              But I did earn enough to pay my server bills last month

                                                                                              I agree. Newbies should not speak until they can:

                                                                                              1. take the heat
                                                                                              2. Gain experience
                                                                                              3. Not lie about what they make per month and not ask what everyone else is making.

                                                                                                                                                              Perserverance is a major factor in succeeding, why would they give up after just a few months not making any bling! For some it make take years before becoming sucessfull and that's alright....

                                                                                                                                                                          It might take 3 6 or even 12 months untill a newbie gets the hang of it and starts making money.

                                                                                                                                                                          When i first started i didnt make a single cent for over 6 months, than all of a sudden i got my first check for $2k and the second check for $30k and the rest is history.

                                                                                                                                                                          If you give up you will never make it.

                                                                                                                                                                                              i agree with what has been said in here, but you should also consider that there are lots of programs that don't convert, so ppl spend too much time on them...unfortunately you should only use the good old tip 'trial & error' - it takes time but if you are serious at what you are doing, you will make it.
