Lots of them saying, "see the video here", but just lead to a typical celeb site that has nothing close to the video..
I believe it's called fraud... and there will be at least one guy that doesn't give a fuck that will have the site up on fraud charges before long..
Probably best to just forget about it.. Too many sites that have it available free.. -
I don't mean to fraud anyone, I'm just looking to ride the wave of confusion. Ultimately people are signing up to celeb sites in hopes of hooking up with the video, even if the site isn't actually promoting any Hilton ads. I can't see anything wrong with that...

I'm not making a killing but I'm doing good with celeb sales. You should throw up some Flashcash banners and some XPays banners (they have some nice looking celeb sites) and see what happens. I'm sure you could get quite a few sales.Comment

For the record, I'm in complete agreement that no webmaster should be duping the surfer into thinking they are going to get the Paris Hilton tape. But if the surfer dupes himself... then...
Mr. Skin doesn't advertise "paris hilton" anywhere... So they must be signing up for something else.

I've just never understood how they can honor some of these chargebacks. I mean, if the site has NO mention of Paris Hilton, why is it the site's fault? I can understand, customer is unsatisfied, provide a refund or a pro-rated refund... But a chargeback? A bit unfair to the webmaster.

Yes, if they click on "GET THE TAPE HERE" and it brings them to a site that has celebs, that's misleading and borderline fraud.
But I'm just talking "paris hilton" clicks. It's a keyword, anywhere you see the name, they're gonna click. I see no foul in just forwarding them to a celeb site, they obviously like celebs... And I'll bet some of these celeb sites have non-sexual pics of her anyway, the stuff from magazines, so they'll probably get something for their trouble.
