Network Hosts - I need a GIG PIPE

My current contract is almost up and I want a firm pricing info on the following please:

1000mbs minimum contract with info on overage and/or additional pricing points every 100mbs or so.

60 servers (currently 25 dual 1.5ghz, 2.0 gigs ram with 1x40gb and 2x100gb HD's + 35 single 1.5ghz, 2.0 gigs ram with 2x80gb HD's).

Pricing to include all bandwidth, servers, rack space, network switching and routing hardware, electricity, 24/7 support and 1 dedicated class-C ip block.

If you are not a major player, data center or network...don't waste our time. Please PM me and I'll provide ICQ and phone #'s to proceed from there.

Maybe you should also share how you disabled my connection and changed my server password in the middle of the night without warning or apology -- then tried to blame the problem on Apache being installed incorrectly... Ask Jupiter how they monitor your uptime -- they don't

Except they are the worst fucking hosting company most of us have ever dealt with. Just try to get hold of one of there techs when you need something done. Its the only company that has 100 sales people to signup new customers and fuck all techs to do tech work.

Why don't use you just go direct? Allot of data centers are doing tech support now-a-days and of course you get rock bottom pricing if you go direct to the backbone. Give Cogent, L3, Yipes or Williams a call. I'm sure they will gladly help you. Check out Equinix for a data center, they are top of the line for a carrier neutral facility.

BTW --- Post the deal you end up getting on the gigE, I'm interested to see what pricing is going around now.

Is it just me or does that not sound like a deal for someone looking to buy 1000 mbps from a host? Many hosts offer that to people doing 10mbps, so my guess is someone using 100x more should get a better deal...

ok...to give you an idea of what I mean...we have world class facilities in Los Angeles and San Jose....we have 192 strands of single mode dark fiber that homerun directly to the mdf at One Wilshire.

It is a level three certified data center with more power available than the entire library tower...and we can back that up.

We have not opened our doors to many at all....but for the right people we will.

We are carrier neutral and can cross connect to literally any provider you want...depending on which provider you prefer to buy your bw from
