yah well, I started my site listing hundreds of galleries a day for free,
and still do, people thank me all the time for making them sales and listings them daily,
but you know what some gallery makes are cool and some are winy bitchs, and some are cheaters
I had to pay 800$ and custome work for a script, I pay a reveiwer, full time, just so I can continue to take public submitions and review everyone by the next day, which costs me2000$cdn a month, granted she is a assitant and does other work but the majority is reviewing,
so the point is I spend money to list people for free,
and then about 30% of the submitions are cheaters,
so I spend money to be fucked over,
the pooint is I nead gallery makers and they nead me,
and the ones who can play ball with me get listed daily and on top of that the best get partners accoutn and get listed 3 times a day,
but the winny bitchs, and stupid idiots and cheaters, can kiss my ass,
these cheaters come and talk to me on icq to feel me out and get un banned and try to figure out how I catch them,
so im sorry when you get banned, you have to jump through hoops, I have to protect my listings, and my site from crap,
I got cheaters trying to suck up to me just so they can get over on me a second time, and then I get hit botted and spamed and hacker attacked, when they get fuctrated, by me standing up to them,
so the rules are mine and for my site, so if you follow them you get listed, its simple,

my programmers developing a system that will eliminate all need for submissions or category scripts. but i will only give it to the ppl i work worth because it will basically have no need for submissions and will probly ruin peoples extra income. i hate tgp submitters to many are idiots and dont understand you have to have something original or out there. soon i dont think any public submissions will be left.Comment

I so desperately want to repond by saying that you're all mad at the wrong people, but I don't know how to explain it without writing a book worth of shit. Basically, TGPs have all those rules in place to try and limit cheaters and make their lives easier. Too bad they don't know the truth. I have a couple of TGP sites and get anywhere from 400 to 1200 submissions a day at each of them. On average, over 80% of the submissions come from 3-4 people...and all of those will redirect first time uniques away from the galleries. Unfornately, most TGP owners have no way of detecting these "cheaters".
The real problem with these guys is that they are submitting really nice galleries with lots of high quality pics. Those nice galleries are hard for the average submitter to compete with. Or...some cheaters just go out and find nice galleries that were created by talented webmasters and copy them. They submit the copy and then, once it's listed on a TGP, will start to redirect traffic from that gallery. (I mean, how many times have you seen webmasters complain that they've found their stuff copied? And you were wondering why you're sponsor code...or your work...has been blacklisted!!!)
Anyone figured out why all the hoops yet? It looks to me like there are just a few outfits out there that are submitting tons of quality content and they can afford to do it because they're redirecting traffic, etc.
If anyone has any suggestions or questions, I'd really like to hear them. Would really like to know how to block out these big guys and give my links space to the average webmaster who has worked his butt off to make a $.

I hate that so very few webmasters take the time to answer emails when it comes to their tgp.. Yes, i understand that there probably are tons of emails every day, but mine is the important one damnit!!

I know you hate TGPs, but you would be less furious if you applied for preferred submit status with us. I mean half the guys on here that trash TGPs still submit to them, they just keep it quiet. Hmm I have so many but I still do submit. My biggest gripe is a follow on from Howling Wulf's about getting banned for no bloody reason except that the common theme revolves around them being an AGP site which sends you about 5 hits
I experienced it today with some piddly TGP so I look it up in whois (sometimes its someone you know whose script has had a brainfart) and I find that the domain was registered 3 weeks ago! I find it infuriating that I can submit to almost all of the biggers sites & have partner accounts with most of them for a couple of years and then get some prick with a fortnight old TGP ban me for fuck knows what.
I think what I am going to do is ban all their URL's from my TGP's. Sucks for a submitter who pairs one of my sites with theirs but fuck 'em.
Oh and some banned words piss me right off too. Tonight I encountered "avi" as a banned word. A subsequent check found the word "having" in my gallery. And for those who ban "pet", dont you realise thats fucks up "petite"?Comment

Knowing you have submitted an A class gallery that is better than most on the main page, and having some snot-nosed reviewer tell you you're declined for some boneheaded reason that doesn't exist.
Most of you don't understand the nature of what a tgp does though. TGP's don't GIVE away everything like some think..... TGP's are a vehicle for advertising only. The submitters make galleries in order to advertise their sponsors, the TGP's list those galleries in order to expose their surfers to the content. Nothing more, nothing less. It is about advertising, period.
