Created a unique email address and used my CC to do a test signup for a website of mine... now all of the sudden about a month later I'm getting a TON of dollarmachine spam to this address.
I've NEVER signed up for anything with this address and created it primarily as a test email. Used it once and never bothered with it again... it was just a random alias on a domain of mine.
I could have been hacked too but it's unlikely... my server is locked down fairly well. The only ports open are http/https/mysql and ssh... even these have fw rules allowing access to only certain ips (except for http and https).
I'm sure nothing would be solved by posting this here, just had to vent...
