I guess we can sum it up as "to each his own" there are some domestics i would buy GT40 or Pantara for instance. I would buy an 8 if it were german, but I do prefer using a tinker toy to beat "real" cars is all.
I will admit once again from the factory with no mods the german cars are very nice to ride in daily.
