                        That's ok, I just saw on cnn the other day that no incumbent president who had an approval rating below 50% in May has ever been re-elected.

                        Bush' approval rating in may was 47%

                                                Speaking of poll data gathering. I just recently (last week) participated in one. Most of them are done via telephone. They asked me about 20 questions and the last one was "are you a democrate, republican, independant, or other party".
                                                This polling company clearly stated that they were hired by ABC at the begining of the phone call.

                                                        Why not? most polls gather from like 2000 or so people. One persons data is fairly signifigant with those numbers. Hopefully the american sheep will follow along with what is popular.

                                                                                                                    They have no shortage of people to arrest, so I say put the apologists at the top of the list. They're already prosecuting what, 300 people for obscenity? If it takes jail time to wake up some of these hypocrites in our industry, well like I said it's better them than good people who care about our business. A supporter of this regime is no friend of mine and no friend of our industry.

A Republic is strong and stable with a degree of both liberalism and conservatism. A degree of conservatism keeps things from moving too fast which can be very dangerous to the stability of a nation. I offer 1861 as an example.

You need only look back a generation and see Elvis on TV shot from the hip up to see that. Often, liberal ideas are advocated and argued for by segments of America, taken up by other parts of the world, and then exported back here. It's a large influential society. Sometimes it is in the lead and sometimes not.

There are a large number of things which any of us has an opinion on. There are some things which I really disagree with George Bush on. There are some things which I really disagree with John Kerry on. Unless one subscribes completely to the beliefs of a particular person worshipping them as pharoah, this is inevitable. If you want to ask me if there are things I don't agree with George Bush on, such as how the old earth is, the answer is yes. The same goes for any other politician. It is impossible that there is any politician who has the same beliefs as I on every issue of importance to me. To further complicate the matter, I hardly ever have a clear "yes" or "no" answer to most political questions. If you ask me what I think on any political issue I can usually tell you some arguments on each side that I think are both valid.
