actually the monitor is probably one of the best I've found for design work. flat panel monitors have a native resoloution, and that sucks when playing with images that arent native to that resoloution. Mine is a flat screen CRT, If you do design work I suggest using a CRT as opposed to a flat panel, more accurate color representation and image clarity. Unless were talking sky high priced flat panel units.
