Oklahoma... WIN?? *choke**gasp* Sure they will. ;-) OT and by a hair are still Wins. Someone mentioned you guys played 9 High School teams and only 2 college teams this year? Whats that all about?! rotfl
When is a 1-0 hockey game like a 13-12 football game? EVERY time, they are still wins. lol

I would have to say that Oklahoma is pretty much untouchable. They've proven it again and again year after year. They've had their rough spots but are consistently winning. This year there is no doubt that they are kicking ass. It is pretty awesome to be able to hear the roar of the stadium several miles away. It's a lot like the fanfair of the professional teams. Of course the football fans in Oklahoma take their Sooners very seriously and it's a fun atmosphere the weekend of home games. The fanaticism is so great that the local Wal Mart in Norman even got their home office to approve a "Sooner Connection" store which was a pilot program for Wal Mart and it is in one of the little retail spaces up front and is wall to wall Sooner gear. It did so well in the first year that I hear that it will be branching out to all of the other college and professional towns eventually. OU just did a huge renovation to their stadium and increased the seating capacity by some insane amount as well as adding some primo suites to the mix. I think that they are definitely on a roll and there's no end in site. They aren't as big or as powerful as the teams from the 80's with the likes of Brian Bosworth but they are definitely skilled.

You must have never been to a Buckeyes game then... 105k people chanting O-H-I-O, and propagating the letters through the horseshoe. There's not comparison to that. Many other people from other schools who've been to games in the Shoe will agree with me on that one.
Did you watch the Championship game last year in Tempe? Notice something about the crowd? 98% Buckeye fans, from all parts of the US travelled in to support the Bucks. And you be telling me the broad school spirit and support by alumns, students and everyone else can be matched. Keep on dreamin'.

Has any other stadium been recorded on the richter scale other than LSU? I think not. And, I think LSU can take the Sooners, no problem!
everybody who has something to say about OU's strength of sch. go read the bcs report. since everyone thats hating on the big 12 thinks our sch was so easy why is it ranked 7? like i said in another thread, texas, kstate, o-state would wreck havoc in ANY other conference in the land.

Then why is it that the only team that played OU and made a game of it was an SEC team?
1st - learn your team - it was the second game of the season.
2nd - I didn't know it mattered when you played someone.
3rd - yes. I think a lot of teams would stomp Oklahoma, many of them in the SEC.
And, since you mention them:
Texas - Lost to Arkansas (SEC)
K State - Too chicken to play SEC team
O State - Hmm, don't see them playing an SEC team either.
LSU rocks!
no, Alabama was the first GAME of the season. N. Texas was a fucking scrimage damn near. It does matter when teams play each other, why do you think that damn near every college team has 2-3 non conference games at the start of the season? maybe sec teams are afraid to play more teams in the big 12.
like i said, if you make it to the game then we will show you why we are the #1 team in the land

Then you've obviously never been to an OU game. We have alumni's that come in for the games from many many states. Our alumni's are very active with the university and the surrounding community. Hell they even let the students off the Monday after a flogging of Texas.
Oh and chanting O H I O and propogating letters through a horseshoe comes nothing near hearing the OU Band blasting out a good chorus of Boomer Sooner and seeing the Scooner Schooner making it's lap around the field. It's very very impressive and there have been very few universities that I would compare to that kind of spirit.
jennym nap is just talking all that shit because OU and USC will never both drop to let LSU up in that game. You bring that shit to New Orleans with LSU coming to play and Choklahoma probably won't even show.
Can you imagine what it would be like? LSU in the championship game in Louisiana? Anyone who's every been to an LSU home game knows that would be fucking insane. The little Choklahomians would tremble and scuttle their little asses back home.
All that aside. Regardless of who makes it to the championship, Oklahoma will be somebody's bitch

if we didnt come to play we would still fucking own LSU. USC and maybe OSU are probably the only teams in the country that would make a game out of the bcs championship. keep living in your fantasy land though. must be great, crawdads and west nile

I am feeling you !!!!!
OU is awesome..........but once SC gets rolling. Its over. Not to mention the fact that Pete will have time to scheme. SC 38 -17 over OU. BTW OSU will get beat by Michigan on Sat. : )

Too bad you've never heard of TBDBITL... The Best Damn Band In The Land...
Sooners have an awesome team this year and will pry win the National Championshop. I think the only way they will lose, is if they beat themeselves with mistakes and stupid tournovers.
Thought I would never say a good thing about the Sooners, being a Huskers fan, but I did heh.
