I think in the idustry can make it hard on some giving the distance issue sometimes..
But guys that work it seem to have a higher level of respect for the female webmasters then just every day jow blows. Most guys that aren't in the business if you tell them what you do they naturally asume thigns that aren't always true lol!

I haven't dated anyone in the industry yet. I would never rule it out though. I know a lot of male webmasters who are cute, funny, intelligent, etc. The person would have to be really special though. It would suck to have a shitty breakup and have to see that person at every convention for the rest of your time in the biz. I mean, at that point, what do you do about the restraining order?

If I was single and looking...I don't think I would consider dating anyone in the industry...from what I've seen in the past and present...people talk way too much and the pleasure of being able to separate personal life from biz is a great comfort...
gaining respect in the industry is hard enough..having a reputation of sleeping around is something that no one wants..
