Perhaps my favourite poet musician. Patti's first recording was released in 1974. She is part native american.
She co-wrote "Because The Night" with Bruce Springstein, and I believe her recording is the most passionate piece of music that I have ever heard.
Her latest album is wonderful and haunting. Highly recommended for those who want some emotion in their art.
