Luck of the draw, I guess.
My surgeon told me that I would lose all sensitivity. I laughed at him. What sensitivity? I didn't have any to lose so it could only get better. Mine are very sensitive now. Often I'll glance down and notice they are hard. Sometimes it can be embarrassing, although most of the time I get off on the extra attention they attract!
