old school 50cent is way better, and gunit used to be way better also. now u c he is still good and his CD was dam good but it relied on beats from Dr dre and the push of eminem.
download the song 50 cent - evil that men do
you will see why he used to be much better, his style was much more hardcore and original back then and not as much of a pop tone.
50 Cent has crazy skills. With Dre and Em behind him, he'll be a force for a while, even if he's more true to their style rather than his own.
I've seen him grow as a live performer. He was pretty bad live over a year ago, got winded as he rapped, wasn't really feelin' it while he was live. Not true anymore, the last time I saw him was within this year. He was poised, and got his flow live.
The latest album has like 3 or 4 really tight tunes, the rest are average rap tunes. But Get Rich Or Die Tryin' is one of the most solid rap albums ever.
I'd highly recommend you guys buy the latest Too Short CD, Married To The Game. Not only does it have our website as a track "Pimpandho.com" #8, but it's very hot as a CD. Very Snoop meets George Clinton, with a touch of Pharell. It's smooth.
He'll be performing some of these tunes at the Players Ball as he MC's the event. Maybe 50 Cent will show up and hang with us. Their camp is well aware of what's up. I always get the word to them as we offer them money to perform, every time.
I'll keep you guys posted if I find out he's coming for sure.
how can anyone listen to that crap? the only purpose he provides is giving poor illiterate black kids hope that they can exploit their culture for cash too.
you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..
Not bad, but not great. G Unit however just fucking sucks with their shitty rhymes and no skills. I guess we'll see what he can do with his next album, real rappers can put shit out quickly. You sit and make an album for 2 years that shit better be a fucking masterpiece and if it's not then that tells you everything right there.
50 cent interview!
---------
Jose: How are things going 50? Can you tell us anything about what is going on with yourself and your label Shady Aftermath?
50 Cent: I am currently on Shady and things are really going well. Eminem and myself are really doing everything the right way by taking time and putting out good quality music. I am not interested in a Sophomore album until I really feel that the Underground is bumping me even in 2004. I don't want to be here today gone tommorow.
Jose: What is next for you on the agenda?
50 Cent: I am working on the D.P.G Unit album with Snoop, Daz, Lloyd, Young Buck, and Yayo. It's supposed to be really hot. I think this all star group is going to be really tight. Snoop came up with the idea and I just ran with it. This album will be amazing.
Jose: When can we expect this album to drop?
50 Cent: I don't have a release date at the present time. Sometime in 2004 but I am hoping by Christmas if things go well.
Jose: How is it working with Daz and will Dr. Dre have any imput on the album?
50 Cent: Dre will have imput and so will Daz. We had a hard time getting them together because of past history but they squashed there little beef like men and now its full speed ahead.
Jose: Speaking of beef. I know you are getting tired of the Ja Rule question. What do you think about squashing that beef or will anything be addressed in this super group album?
50 Cent: I really don't want to beef no more with Ja. I mean I dissed him, he dissed back. We went back and forth like a damn tennis match. **** is getting old. I am ****in getting tired of it. On the Rock The Mic tour, it was getting old with all the Murder Inc. dissing but certain cats that were political made that **** go on. On my part, I didn't want to diss them cats but external forces kept pushing that ****. I don't want no beef no more with Murder or Ja.
Jose: The fans are going to have a hard time believing that you were forced to diss Ja Rule?
50 Cent: I didn't say I was forced to do **** but some *****s was tripping that we were rolling with. I had some **** out with some *****s because of it. The rumor between me and Lloyd was that we had a big beef. It wasn't beef in Cleveland but it was real. He didn't leave G Unit and never would. Thats my *****. Always has been always will be. But we had a difference of opinion and how we do it in the hood is shoot the fair one. Thats what Banks and I were doing but aint nobody leaving for nowhere. **** is cool.
Jose: Do you see with Snoop and Daz on board that you and G Unit being dragged into the Death Row thing or with the Outlawz? Or Vice Versa with you guys having them diss Ja?
50 Cent: Like I said I am done dissing Ja Rule. Done. I don't know how much more I can say. I know the ***** got an E.P. coming out soon dissing me and thats fine. He can diss me all he wants. I am done dissing him, Irv, Black Child, and Tah. Even Ashanti. I am done with them cats. As far as Death Row is concerned. I am not even trying to beef with Suge and them cats. I will be real. I think them Death Row *****s are tight. Eastwood and Crook are some tight ass *****s that can flow. Of course you know Young Gotti is a legend in the Ciphers. I am not involving myself in anything that wasn't aimed at me. I got respect for them *****s and aint no one dragging me into ****. I can tell you that right now!
Jose: Well I can ask you one thing. Fatal of the Outlawz did diss you and did call you out on The Wrap (remix) and called you a ***** and said Pac would never have done a track with you. What do you have to say to that?
50 Cent: Hey Fatal is being Fatal. I got nothing negative to say about that *****. That is one of Pac's closest homies and if he say Pac wouldn't have done a track with me then **** maybe he right. Who am I to say otherwise? You feel me? I aint dissin Fatal because I don't know Fatal and he dissing me cause Ja is dissing me. So how can I be mad at Fatal? He just sticking up for his boy.
Jose: Sounds like you have made peace with everyone?
50 Cent: I am tired of this rap beef. I have been shot nine times, stabbed, and dissed numerously. It can get old after awhile. I told Em that too. I told him if he wanna keep the **** going go ahead but I aint taking part in any more disses. The only thing I did recently was a track for DMX new album and to me thats old already so now I am done with the bull****. If Em goes he goes with D12 but I am my own man and I speak for myself.
Jose: But surely you would have Eminems back in any beef?
50 Cent: What do you mean? I was with him when Benzino dissed him and I was with him during his beef with Everlast even though at the time we was just kickin it. I don't need to rep him. His boys from Detroit and Obie and them *****s are his crew from his hood. I don't feel the need to jump in any feuds. I am done with this topic so lets move on.
Jose: Whats the situation with Yayo?
50 Cent: Yayo should be out by the time the the G Unit album drops. We got his verses on enough tracks.
Jose: Any plans for movies?
50 Cent: There are some scripts I am looking at right now but I won't play any role that is pro law enforcement. I been shot nine times and *****s calling me a snitch and an informant. **** I am playing the thug roles like Pac or someone who fits my character otherwise I aint fin to do no movies. I won't sell out to no one.
Jose: Whats the difference between what your saying and what Raymond Scott (Benzino) has been saying about " selling out " ?
50 Cent: I am saying it from the viewpoint that I am not selling out myself to a character that doesn't fit me. I think Benzino talking about white boys that are bad for hip hop period. I can't say I 100% disagree with him in the sense that the system and the recording industry is set up for them to succeed but thats why *****s got to work ten times harder to make it. Some *****s don't want to do that. I do disagree that by Em getting big, it is hurting black people in general and black artists. Thats bull****.
Jose: So Ray had a point?
50 Cent: Naw. Don't stir up no bull**** man. I didn't say he was right cat. I just said that white emcees do get certain breaks that *****s don't. A guy like Bubba Sparks for example is straight wack to me. He sounds like a ****in drunk hillbilly who needs to be stringing a guitar chord on the TNN network. It's more setup for a white boy like him to make it due to politics and the nature of the business than a ***** like Lloyd or Toni. I mean no disrespect to that cat cause he doing his thing but he sound like garbage to me. It just goes to show you that some cats get breaks and some don't.
Jose: Is there any artists you would like to work with in the future outside Shady/Aftermath?
50 Cent: Yea definetly. I would love to work with Scarface. I also have always checked Mc Ren and am excited about his new **** coming out. I would love to sign him. I also can dig the Midwest and wouldn't mind doing a track with Royce 5'9 especially now that him and Em are cool.
Jose: We are going to end this with word association. Just give us a word or phrase that goes with the person that mention. Can you dig that?
