Personally I never promoted celebs anyway so I'm not too familiar with that end of the business, but I guess it has a whole other set of rules.
My general impression of it is alot of people make galleries out of "public domain" non-nude celeb content and throw up links to sites like yours. Always seemed more like the "non nude teen" business than adult though, since there really is no such thing as "public domain". Then again domain squatting is a whole other matter.

You hit on major point and it doesn't have anything to do with nude vs non-nude...it is one thing to use their name in a url to report information about a star and something else to squat on their name as a url to make money off of their name.
The 2nd will get you busted
