          I have a dual monitor video card by Matrox....I tried setting up two different monitors, although they were the same size.....made me crazy...
          Now, I have two identical monitors....side by side....can't live without it.

              At least have them the same size.
              Go into the display setup and you can configure them there set primary and secondary. Have them run the same, or parrallel etc.
              SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                  i got it up and stuff.. but its the placement of the monitors. it hurts my eyes now.

                        yeah all you need is a card with 2 monitors output or 2 video cards. then you go in display settings, click on monitor #2 and click extend desktop to this monitor.

                                      One centered, the other off to the side. I can never go back to a cramped single monitor desktop again. It's definitely easier on the eyes/brain if both monitors are similar, ie., two LCDs or two CRts. Mixing and matching will be more tiring.

                                                Dual monitors is the only way to go, of course once you go dual it's hella tough to go back to one...


                                                BTW- you MUST have to of the same monitors or it will kill your eyes...
