Actually cockroaches thrive in metropolitan areas like LA, not Riverside. But since you asked, do you telecommute or plan on driving to work? I live in Chino and it is nice to be in the middle of the beach and mountains since you can do both into the winter. Another good spot is Lake Arrowhead. Homes are decently cheap compaired to sea level too.Originally posted by Tala

The five weeks I spent in Riverside were enough for me, thanks.Comment

Please stay where you are, we really don't want you . . . seriously . . . . nothing personal, we don't want anyone new. . . . we will be quite rude to you, and someone will probably take shots at you on the freeway.Originally posted by Shaze

You will hate it here. Stay in Hawaii, or try North DakotaComment

southbay/ south of LAX north of Long Beach... 20 degrees cooler than 20 miles inland... safer.. they have their own police dept.'s and don't use LAPD ... but i suggest staying relatively close to PCH and the beach if you want nice neighborhoods...
or go north.. cities off of the 101 are nice.. all the way up past Santa Barbara.. but thats Ventura County...Comment

I would have to agree. We dont need anymore people here. If you must come try Riverside county. Orange county is something like the 4th most expensive place to live in the US and LA county cant possibly squeeze another person in. I hear Palm Springs is nice.Comment

thanks...i'll keep those in mind...it doesn't have to be in L.A. just around the general area.Originally posted by HitMePlse

You won't miss the beach if you move to the beach in LA! Try the South Bay area. Manhattan Beach is where I'm moving. It's awesome.Comment
