My isp uses a call centre in india, its a joke. The support is terrible.

Dell has a HUGE call center in India. Most US corporations are moving their lower level tech and support jobs overseas. Some industries even move higher paying engineer jobs like systems design/lower level chip design to Taiwan and India.

I wonder if many people in this biz are taking advantage of low cost workers? There is that adult out sourcing place who has workers for hire from asia for cheap.

When I follow the link in your sig I see that you have taken about 5 minutes to make the page offering your services, which leads to an email address supplied by a free provider, Yahoo!

If you can't put the effort into a decent looking webpage what makes you think that you can convince others that you can delegate manual labor for them?

'Training' you say... I would prefer to say 'moulding' into a work pattern that suits the individual.

So run along little boy, go get your mail server setup and hire a designer to make you a page that looks like you have marketable skills to offer.

A couple of years back we hired an Indian "programmer" who's answer to pretty much any problem was to send him back to India where he'd recruit cheap labor to solve it. It didn't matter what the problem was, his solution was an Indian branch of our company. Needless to say we let him go pretty quick.

Hey Wade , I am not 100% sure but I belive this 5$ guy is a guy that use to work for AOS . and if i am right , again not 100% sure you need to be very careful , they fired a few guys that went and fucked over there clints as well as the company to ,

We stay more then bussy with this , belive it is becoming a very large thing , not just for this but for many things . I know here and in India call centers are very very big . For you that didnt know this most of you from the usa when you call 411 info you are calling ether PI or India , Ya that is right . If you call for aol help or microsoft you call one of these two as well and one other i cant rememebr the name of .

All i can say to people is try if you need this kind of work reather it is us or another , I have a very good rep here and with my content company and I treat this xxxoutsourcing busines the same . Me and my parnter have trained al our workers , we try not to have the clints have to tho that isnt always 100% for the fact you might have things done your way or ways you like better , and we all know that there isnt not one of us that knows it all , shit I myself learn new every day !

I and prostock clarified this over ICQ. I am not the ex-AOS guy. I was born in the Philippines but grew up in the US. I've been a webmaster in the US for 4 years and have come back to do outsource projects. I don't know too much about what's going on with AOS. All I know is that there is enough space in the outsourcing industry for everyone.

Jim aka Prostock has a good rep and is looking out for potential client's benefit. He's a good guy.

Anyway, depending on what a particular client's needs are, Prostock's xxxoutsourcing or my own services may be the better fit. It totally depends on what your needs are.
