I got another speeding ticket today BUT i now have a fourth option!

I was kind of shocked when the cop handed over the my ticket along with this peice of paper and explained to me what it was about.

It seems i can now BUY my way out of a ticket for $100 BUT you can only do it once per year. What you have to do is go to a class and write a test and if you pass then they let you off the hook on this ticket. The test is like 30 minutes which is a bit of pain in the ass but the fact they DROP the ticket and you dont lose points and it doesnt appear on your record is a fairly good thing!

I went to one of those, here if you are under 21 they offer it. I went when I was 18, they GIVE you the answers to the test. Funny as hell

So if you're over 21, you're still screwed?

Do you know the kinds of questions they ask you? is it the same kind of stuff that was on the 365/G2 permit test?

I could always fight the shit and plead not guilty...try and find some fault with his Radar unit and/or operation but it'll be quicker/easier/less risk to pay... I'll save the fight for the ones i have to fight :P

There is a HUGE difference between safe speeding and dangerous speeding. It was a single lane in either direction with a posted speed of 80km/hr and absolutely no people anywhere around except in other cars and houses.

I was doing 109km/hr, we're talking about streets in the middle of nowhere but that a moderate flow of traffic. 100-110 isn't unreasonable or unsafe but I do concede I was speeding.

The one i went to, you watch a video and the questions are things they tell you in the video. You would watch 5 minutes of video, answer question 1, watch 5 minutes, answer question 2.
And they did everything but yell out the answer
