Got a threat for "Title" Tag Copyright Violation

I run a non adult website and today this fucker sends me this email threatening me:

"This is to inform you that your title description on your home page is in
violation of the trademark of our name. Our website is the "Hgh Human
Growth Hormone Guide", this is our company trademark. Please remove the
title description from your home page and all your pages. Thank you. This
is a courtesy notice, which we hope you respond to. If we don't hear from
you in the next ten days we will be bringing our lawyer into this, and will
be contacting all appropriate government agencies regarding this
infringement, and will also be reporting this trademark infringement to the
various search engines. Thanks for cooperation. I know we are
competitors, but we wish you luck with your Hgh business, this isn't about
competition or being competitors, it is about the unlawful use of our name
on your home page title. thanks again for your cooperation, please let me
know when you have changed your home page title to take out the word Guide.

    Sales Manager

Now, how the fuck can someone sue me over just a title tag on my domain, can they actually do this? Those of you guys who are lawyers, any input appreciated, I haven't responded to his email and am not sure what to say.

I think that whoever is taller should win.

I mean, you're both selling something promoting human growth, so let the best results win!

They will be going to their lawyers? Why wasn't it their lawyers who contacted you in the first place? Smells like they don't even have lawyers, to me.

            Human Growth Hormone

Years ago I would tell my girlfriends that seaman contained human growth hormone and if they would swallow it would give them big boobies.

Not all but some actually believed it.

            LOL

Ask to see their trademark paperwork. Are you in the same country as they are? (If not, then they have to have an International Trademark)

Thats one important sales manager too! Since when do they handle the legals for a company?! lol

But if you do have THEIR info.... you didn't leave your URL for anyone to look at either... So no one here can verify them

And call a lawyer as well. The only thing they really can do is have their own lawyer step in now. The last I knew government agencies don't enforce P/T rights... only courts do. So an attorney is your best bet all the way around.

I would ask for the proof that they own the trademark to "Hgh Human Growth Hormone Guide". If they actually own the trademark, you can either wait and see if they have enough money or willing to take you to court, or you can just take it down from your website.

I had Sega contact me awhile back over a domain name that is similar to something they have trademarked. I sent my letter to them about it and haven't heard back from them. It's been so long now, they more than likely dropped it and let me keep the domain name (at least that's what I'm gonna assume, unless I get a document to show up at court).

                  go here http://www.uspto.gov/

go do a search on trademarks type in HGH.. there are 41 trademarks registered.. none with that name..

not sure if this is a sessioned link, but here it is with the results :
