True story: Two nights ago, I promised Wiseman I would wear my quickbuck visor the day of the launch (today) on the off-chance that I meet a webmaster in the course of my daily activities. Seeing as I sit in front of a computer all day, and only see the same dozen or so faces I've been looking at for four years now, the odds of my forehead marketing doing any good was slim, but Wiseman can be very convincing (he says he's got footage of me and Rick Solomon).
So, anyway, I was leaving my apartment building today, as a tall, gorgeous blonde girl was walking in. I was frantically trying to figure out how to get a conversation started, when she looks at me and says, "I like your hat."
Cha-ching.
She didn't know what it meant or what I did (she just liked the name) but that was good enough to get her name and number.
