Look at it this way: Coke itself can dissolve pennies, take the rust off metal, and makes an excellent drain cleaner. I'd be more worried about the content than the container.

No problem, been there and done that. I remember doing it in a high school science class. Its not like it happens over night, but give it a week or so and that bitch is gone.

Maybe within a week it's possible, but that is because it contains citric acid and phosphoric acid. It is no more harmful than your average citrus beverage though.

I was under the impression you were suggesting that it would dissolve something OVERNIGHT.
