    PC with no fan?

Anyone know of a decent PC that has no fan?

How about no fan when the machine is idle?

    Must be windows, not mac.

Why would you want no fan? You want your shit to overheat and be useless after you buy it?

          actually it can be done.

wrap the cpu in a waterjacket and pump cool water over or thru the waterjacket to cool the cpu.

just don't let the water touch the cpu or any other electrical parts.

its or google, do a search.

my last water cooled system was louder than my currentbox that has 3 case fans, a cpu fan and a video card fan...

                i still barely hear it

why would u care about fans??

I had a Volcano 10 and it burnt out on me.. replaced it with a $7 Speeze and couldn't be happier. This Speeze fan is just amazing... my CPU is atleast 1/3 cooler than with the Volcano. Don't believe me.. goto Newegg and read the reviews on that fan

The mac g3 cube was fanless.

There are tons of industrial/hahahahahaded PCs that lack fans, but most are in the sub-gigahertz range, P3 pr celeron technology, and aren't as expandable as you'd expect with typical consumer or desktop PCs...plus they cost a lot more. Usually they use solid state disks, too, but if they're PC/104 compliant you can add an IDE disk controller.

Here's a 400 MHz fanless with decent expandability for $1200:

The whole case looks, and acts, as a heat sink.
