More adult games.
Controllers don't feel cheap.
You can play DVD's without spending another 100 bucks for an "adapter".

XBox DVD adaptor doesn't cost $100...it's $20.

And the XBox is getting the new CounterStrike. PS2 isn't.
I've got all the new systems, and XBox is the way to go

I mean, I can network with my computer and move over the Xbox Divx Movies, Mp3s, etc... also, I can play all my Nes/Snes/Sega/NeoGeo etc... Roms over there on the console...
it totally kicks ass for that...
For the console games though, I liked the PS2's better... that's why I got both systems ;)

Install a 180GB HD into a modded Xbox and you have Emulators, a Dvd Player, Every single NES, SEGA, SNES and other console games ever created, mind you there is a slight lag to them from the emulato.
You can than also save/burn xbox games to your HD, so when you can just rent them and about 90% of the games copy over perfectly without any problems, some need some tweaks.
You can buy them fully modded with every single old console game on them and ever some new ones, my friend bought his he already has some new games like the Simpson's hit and run.

I picked up an XBox at our local Sam's Club -- open box buy with 2 controllers, DVD remote, and 2 games for $99. I couldn't pass that deal up -- even though the games are shit games they gave with the system.
But I would love to mod it to play MAME or other emulators. Just don't have the know-how yet
