But of all the places I've seen and all the palces I've read about, I still love my country and would rather live here than anywhere else.

When I joined the Navy, it was partially for the money and the education benefits, but also because I'm proud of where I was born and raised. The government can kiss my ass. There's a difference between my country and my government. I'm sure this is beyond your scope of understanding, but here it is. I love my country. It's a beautiful place. I love the diversity of its people, the freedom I'm given (and often take for granted, I'm sorry to say), and the natural beauty that it holds. For that alone, I would fight. I love the wide open spaces. How's the Netherlands for wide open spaces? I love that if I make money doing what I want to do, I can continue to do so.
