Hello Everyone
Just a quick note to say that we have released a new product called 'Trafficwize'
If you run a movie site, trafficwize is very useful for metering your user downloads. It goes beyone apache's mod_bandwidth and mod_throttle and you can actually set maximum download rates for your movies, REGARDLESS of how many concurent downloads they start or how many servers you have etc.
You have complete control because you set a MAXIMUM AGGREGATE download rate.
So for example if you capped your members at 100k/sec and they started one download, they'd get it at 100k/sec. If they started a second download, the first one would drop down to 50k/sec and the second one would be @ 50k.sec.
If one of the downloads finished, the other one would go back up to 100k/sec.
You can also do per-user overrides, so you can make some users or faster or slower than others. So you could use it to cap your trial members to a slower speed for example, so that they can't leech as quick.
It also shows you detailed information about the complete bandwidth usage of your site(s) by user, most popular downloaded movies etc etc.
