jayz is the crapiest rapper around now, if u like him u r easily influenced by hype, his lyrics r good, but he cannot rap worth shit, he cant even sing to a single beat anyone, he has gone downhill after sunshine was realeased. he should be a writer not a half ass rapper.

The G-Unit is a little too East Coast sounding to me. 50 has some nice shit out (a ton of insane battles against that little mouse), but the beats are lacking and it seems revisited.
The Jay Z is a nice album with some grooves that hint at beats of the late 70's. His flows are smooth and his delivery is right on the money. It's a pretty mellow album without the party starters of the past, but it's a solid album overall.
As far as sales....G Unit will have Jay beat due to publicity.Comment

Obviously you know fuck all about spitting, because i have several friends who's musical talents I respect and it's a fact among us that they're are pretty much no rappers with the ability to rap the way Jay does, his flow is fvcking bananas. He makes words rhyme that have different endings and syllables and alters them to fit his rhyme schemes, on top of that his lyrics have more substance than anyone's right now. Jay is the truth.
Nas matches Jay's skill.

jay-z's album is actually pretty good, especially when you sit down and listen to the songs and not just the beats. when you expect to be able to bob your head to every single song's beat then you will be disappointed.Comment
