VIdeo guys - is it time to

I would like to ask you (guys interested in video content or using some videos ) about resolution. We sell 320x240 but maybe its time for higher resolution.
I think it depends on surfers but what do you think?

    how much bigger we talkin?
    720x480 dvd?

Also i think for promotion purposes and members area 320x240 is doing just fine imho...bigger could be cool to have as an option for members but no chance of putting up vids like that on tgp I would say.

an easy trick is take your 128-256kbit streaming 320x240 videos and just hahahahaha the player at 400x300.. its enough to look great but not pixelate.. OR be generous and just let them open it in the damn player so they can zoom!

as for ENCODING at higher resolutions unless you have a quality encoding machine (dual G5 preferablY) a 640x480 or 720x480 will look shitty when you feed it to a lower bitrate and it will take equally more processor to play smoothly at the client side...

i say zoom it for now. though it wouldnt hurt to do some "bonus" 30 second 720x480 things
