Sure some people touting sigs that were paid for make some useless posts, but those without paid sigs make many more. Are you implying GFY was perfect before the paid sig concept was created. Bullshit. I have been following this board for years. I enjoy it on many levels but there has always been bullshit mixed in with the good threads on this board. There are always a large handful of people posting garbage just to get there post count up because certain people have the impression its important to have a high post count. Things won't change.

Even if Lensman did decide to ban paid sigs I would still run a TCG banner. They are my main sponsor. No different then those displaying other affiliate programs posting drivel.

If I would you it would piss me off more than a little though that by supporting your biggest sponsor, you are getting lumped in with all these fuckknobs that are only as successful as their 25 cents a post. If you aren't one of those people, you have nothing to defend. Personally though, I would be pissed at the association. You wouldn't feel you had to say anything at all if you weren't on the defensive. If things are as you say, then you have no real reason to feel involved at all.

I think nonsense and excessive one emoticon posts have to stop, whether they are paid for or not. I said that a long time ago. There's assholes in EVERY group that kill the goose that lays golden eggs. They do it with sponsors and traffic sources and now with sigs.

TCG needs to be more selective about who they are paying, I already addressed my concerns to BT and GFY needs to crack down on people who make nothing but worthless posts at the 50 reply mark or one emoticon 600 times a day.
