    best place to download mp3's?

    Without all those annoying ads... whats the best program to use now? and Free!

    I used to use Grokster, I got sick of all those popup ads and the spyware it put on my puter. Please list ones without spyware shit.

                                                                                          Most of the songs on Kazaa are 128 and a lot of those are ripped with Xing (crap) WinMX has way more high bitrate songs.

                                                                                                      With all the fake songs being released by the record companies and shit, your best bet anymore is to learn how to use mIRC in conjunction with ircspy.com or something similar. It's worth learning and it's *much* more reliable anymore.

                                                                                                      I started out using IRC before all these wonderful filesharing programs were out. Switched for a while to the Napsters and Kazaa's, but they suck ass now... recently went back to trusty mIRC.

                                                                                                                  A good newsgroup service (easynews, supernews, etc) works well. You have to wait around for someone to post what you want but there are lots of different newsgroups with a lot of variety.
