Sponsor Stat Checker utility

StatTool utility saves time by checking all your sponsors stats
and making a html report
1) You enter login/password into it
2) you run .exe file on your computer

In less than 1 minute (on broadband/ADSL connection) you will get a html report with daily stats.

Last I heard he is even offering the developers program with documentation to anyone who has coding/scripting skills. The guys seems like a really helpful guy who isn't asking anything for himself out of this, he would like to have others contribute plug ins, etc.. work together so that everyone can have a nice program to share. (Of course, I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you used his referral links if you want to sign up under a sponsor his program supports that you don't already use)

I like the idea and that's why I'm pluggin the guy.
Not too many people like that around anymore, everyone
just out for themselves. I'm not paying $35 /mo to check my stats so I will give this guy all the support I can! No telling what this program could eventually turn into or branch out into.

You really should download it and try it out!

So does that mean he'll make it open source? I'd love to use it but I'm too paranoid about spyware being attached to this thing. I'm sure his intentions are very good but it's just me, I won't install something unless I absolutely trust it. I would like to have the source if he's willing to make it public but I understand perfectly if he won't.

Looks like a good proggy.

Wow, this looks similiar to perl code regarding the TEDEPTH and TECOUNT vars.... are you using the TableParser to get the depth of the data within the html output?

The documentation he provides is very detailed. The stuff he posted above is what is in that sponsors data file. Something you never have to touch or worry about unless you want to add a sponsor yourself. I'm NOT a coder at ALL, but after looking through it, I feel like I could add one myself.

And from what I understand, he will provide anyone a copy of the developers version so that you can check out the source yourself. Just ask him for it.

Also you can set up a firewall to block all traffic from specific program, and then enable urls one by one.

I'm a bit paranoid about trojans too and use combination of firewall/tcpspy program with all new utilites I download

I'd buy such a thing if it where a php script so it can run on a server. Stats could be checked from everywhere, plus all the adult related things could be kept off the desktop for those who wish this.

Why not develop it here with all of us? We can add all sponsors, if everybody does 1 or 2 we have soon everythiong covered, we even canb make the program ncier so it has nicer outputs etc? but only if PeeFee thinks it's ok:D

Well it hard to develope support two versions at the same time.

You're right, it's very nice to have a report handy. When you use a slow connection or traffic is expensive (dialup/mobile phone/gprs etc)
International rates for GPRS traffic are so huge
Everyone is ready to pay 12 USD per Mb (not Gb!!!) of GPRS traffic when you are skiing in Switzerland.

Okay, here are two options:
1) all password are located on YOUR server - you can use crontab or just request cgi script to get stats.
2) password are encoded on server and you enter in < textarea > (online form) a long password (like PGP signature) to decode passwords and make a one time report.

Your suggestions will be appreciated.

They don't allow to select time intervals shorter than 7 days.
Can anyone ask them to make a one day report?

From what I can see its stats by period (weekly) and monthly.
TCG 3 has all the options for exact dates. Release date is 2 weeks

Should be at the same url you first downloaded from.

Anyone having problems with the CCBill part?

You don't enter a seperate line for each individual account, including merged accounts. Just create one, it automatically combines the totals for that one and the accounts merged with it.

If you have another CCBill account that is not merged with the first one, then you create another line for the second account. It will get totals for that account and combine with any other accounts that may be merged with that one.

The [ccbill1] in brackets is what the title on the stats report will be, this can be changed to whatever.

I think that will be more clear in the updated readme file in case anyone had a problem with area like I did. I was trying to add every sub account on it's own line.

Why use this scripted one?
$35 x 12mo x 5yrs = $2100

The scripted one = $0, will be especially nice once we can add our own sponsors. I have enough people standing in line to stick their hands in my pockets

You realize that a program like this can transmit your user and pass to someone who can change your address in many programs and steal your payouts.

I'm not saying this program does it, but it's pretty easy for someone to write that into one.

Lensman and WG are absolutely right... And not just about stealing passwords and other obvious attacks ... It is very very very easy to write very subtle trojans that are virtually undetectable and can do all sorts of nasty things without you realizing until it is too late, or things you wouldn't notice like ref code substitution etc...

This looks very cool, but if at all possible I would suggest that you move to an open source approach and allow the community to contribute. After all, you already have people writing plug-ins for you, how cool is that!?
