    Anyone use Outlook Express?

Anyone know how to export email messages- or where the folder is with the emails?

I can not for the life of me find any info on this anywhere that actually WORKS.

EDIT: Into a format I can transfer to FTP and download onto another machine.

    Thanks!
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

you can select your messages and drag them wherever you want.. then drag them right back in...

    easier than eny export/import process..

Have not tested but try going to Tools, Options, Maintenence, Store Folder zip up that folder upload via FTP download to whatever other PC and edit the Store Folder on the other PC's Outlook Express installation to the new folder.

I'll try that. I don't know if Express likes dbx, but if it creates them it must be able to import them.

          Well... probably.

Just to clarify, you don't import them on the new installation, just change the current Store Folder on the new installation to match where you unzipped the old store folder.

                C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{some-weird-long-key}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Brad, make sure you view all files, including invisible ones. You can set that in Windows Explorer under Tools - Folder Options.
