In 1997 I bought my first computer. When I turned it on, I didn't have a fucking clue what to do next. I got an internet connection, and started surfing. I thought, hey cool, I'd like to learn how to make these websites. Within one month, I taught myself basic html, and put up my first site on freeyellow.com. Bad boy, thinking I could put up an adult site on a free host. Twas so cool, I averaged about 3,000 hits a day (avs site, all se traffic). Made a killing with Adult Check, then freeyellow found me out. Then I found porncity, the first free adult host on the net, and continued my success with Adult Check. Of course over time, it became obvious that you could not run avs on a free host, and I moved on. I went on to build countless avs sites, (never did go the tgp route), and made a decent buck off it, but money was never an issue, I wanted to learn how to build websites, market them, and learn graphical design. All goals have been met, and now, as my children grow, I cannot possibly put the time and energy into these projects, so I am moving on. I am teaching my kids the basics of building their own websites, and will be putting up one or two of my own mainstream sites. The adult business was the best possible vehicle to work the trade, allowing for total freedom with creativity and content, and I am forever grateful. I have spent the past 2 weeks, obliterating all my sites, and then deleting them from my hard drive, lest they never be repeated. I have 2 sites left, that I cannot rid myself of due to ftp problems, but I'll take care of them by phone. So I bid you all adieu, although I will probably still lurk here from time to time.
Before I leave you, I thought I would let you in on who were my biggest influences in this biz. 12clicks, because he is the smartest fucker of all time, John at Cyberfoxes, cuz he is one smart fucker, and took the time to call me personally and send me down the right road, the staff at cyberage, who gave me every tool I ever needed, Mayor at PC, and Lensman who created these great boards to exchange ideas with other webmasters and many more. On a more personal note, real people I feel connected to, Jamdin, you are too cool, I love you James, Tam, we were fuckin dumb newbies about the same time, Balljoints, you crotchety old bastard, may you prosper bro. CDSmith, another redneck western canuck, Wizard, we share the same hometown, now you're a big time moderater at PC. Boneprone, you crazy bastard, thank god you have SonofRage to keep you in line. Amputate your head, you have the coolest talents, I hope you go far. Gemini, I just really like you, same goes for Equinox,titmouse, and Wizdom.
