First off let me say i think roger knows a great deal about this biz and has always impressed me, BUT.....
this isnt like seth with the pam and tommy tape, back then Seth had money, Pam and Tommy were embarassed for a little while but finally realized it was just publicity which is what they were after. They didnt have parents that ran a billion dollar empire to give a shit.
On the other hand, the Hilton family would feel discrased and emabarassed to have there daughter seen like that.
The Hitlons are the type of family that would spend billions to keep themselves looking clean, after all they didnt make there name playing in a rock band and taking there clothes off for playboy.
If i was in Rogers position, it would be a tough call, either end up very lucrative or could easily bite him in the ass.Comment

well if he did get sued big time, I'm sure the lawyers would get to it even through off shore accounts, "gifts" to friends, etc... The only way I presume to keep that money would be to buy a giant ass house in some place like either Florida or certain parts of Texas I believe, because they have real estate laws that prevent the loss of certain property, no matter the size, from judgements. Lots of CEOs that loot the shit out of companies and know they are about to get sued big time do stuff like that. Of course property taxes on a huge 10-20 million dollar home is more than most people pay for an entire average house.

To answer Brad's question, I wouldn't take the risk. It boils down to simple business sense, is the reward worth the risk. To me, it's not. But to others out there that have more experience in matters such as this, it may be very rewarding. The potential for profit is certainly there, but the legal battle that will follow is something I can live without.

I was approached by someone about four months ago who had made the claim he too had a tape when he had a whirl wind fling with PH.
He wanted to know what kind of deal could be made. I said without hesitation that the Hilton family would throw every resource they had to bring the person down. This is a billion dollar heiresse....that loves to have her name in the paper.
What better way to keep the press on you than playing the poor party girl victim being exploited.
My vote is way too much to lose with an opponant who has a legal war chest that is only out matched by a handful of people on the planet.

Okay after thinking about it, I would help them with the investigation and try to help find how the hell it got out, after my friends and I watched it. If I helped get to the bottom of it and saved her ass from being viewed by the world I would ask for all her old clothes, which you know she has a shit load she has never worn or will never wear again that are still in style, plus a life time spa treatment for everything from the top of my hair to the tip of my toes, and a awesome week vacation once a year anywhere in the world on the family yacht for 10 years.
Then the fame I would recieve from being the one to help find everything out, and it would be good fame, would put me in the circle of some pretty cool people and powerful people as well that would be worth more than 5 or 10 million.
Might even get into Playboy!!!!

2. Setup one hell of an offshore company where the frontman doesnt even know my real identity
3. Do a private deal with someone that doesnt have shit to lose by being sued.

So I dont think many would take the headaches or risks..
