I just moved into a new house and found out today that the high speed here is capped at 40 gigs of upload and download.! Haven't heard to much about satellite and was wondering if it's better then dial up or if it's just a waste of money?

I'm looking at getting satellite & then bringing it down to Mexico for the winter. So far all reports I've seen have been good download speeds but awful uploads. Which makes uploading movies a fucking bitch...

if you're looking at Direcway they limit the amount of D/L per day.. I don't remember what it was.. but wasn't a lot .. upload is pretty slow aswell.. it's the type of thing you only use if you can't get another connection besides a phone line.Originally posted by Dennis69
