    Domain Thief

I am posting this here as well because I believe this person has stolen domains from numerous webmasters including one from me yesterday. Here is the info i posted on another board.

    ----
Anyone know this guy? Somehow this asshole within minutes took my domain gaypervs.com from Go Daddy (yes I know I will be transferring the rest of my domains over the next few days).

Anyhow here is the information on this turd on the new whois.
    anderson, mark
    [email protected]
    2129 rhine st apt 3b
    pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15212
    United States
    3127764438

I called Go Daddy who said I needed a court order to stop this guy, so I called my attorney. Funny thing is I am driving to PA on Friday night just outside Pittsburgh so this guy might get a visit from me.

If you have any info please let me know I will be calling a family relative who works for an attorney in PA as well to see about criminal prosecution of this guy.

Anyone with information please email me at [email protected] and let me know. Also if you are submitting to Gay Pervs you might as well stop as it looks like the site is already gone and not much is going to happen for a while to get it back.
    -----------

The DNS is still in my name currently but dont know for how long. The fact of the matter is regardless of receipts, proof, etc go Daddy would do nothing to stop this guy.

I believe this person is also known as Fred and Sergiy and has done this to other webmasters. I also believe he is actually from Canada. I have traced him in round about ways and everything seems to lead to the same guy. From what I can count right now this guy has stolen around 50+ domains mostly in the adult webmaster circles.

If you have ever heard of this guy or have seen mark anderson on any stolen information I would love to get the info.

I believe some of the accts he uses are goose2000 at FEB, and pprince at traffic cash gold. I am not 100% but i am pretty close. This guy doesn't care about who he fucks over, but he was able to get into my godaddy acct with a user/pass that matches nothing else on any other setup I use (affiliate programs etc) and take my domain without any notifiation to me (other than me seeing my domain was unlocked).

Just a warning to all goDaddy users, they dont care. But if you can get me any information I would appreciate it to help me get this turd.

The fucked up thing is that my domain WAS LOCKED at godaddy. I only happened to catch it when all of sudden I got an email showing the domain was being unlocked. I logged into my acct to only see a message of "Account transfer in process" so I took a screen cap of the domain in my acct and the message and called godaddy. They did NOTHING. So regardless of wether shit is locked or not he still changed it.

Then he either had a contact in GoDaddy do it for him or he knows of a way to exploit their system and bypass the check. You should call them back and demand to talk to a supervisors, supervisor who will actually go, ohhh yeah, this can't go on or GoDaddy will look like the shit for brains they are pretty close to already resembling.

I contacted a supervisor and they wont do anything without a court order period. Before I send in a court order I am trying to gather more information to make sure I got the right guy. Obviously Mark Anderson isnt his real name, but we have seen him use Fred, Mark and Sergiy. He is also not from the US from what we can tell.

Damn, best luck getting it back. I didn't make the best experiences with GoDaddy support, too, maybe have a look at Directnic, 15$ isn't cheap, but it's worth those few bucks more, never seen a problem with them, good and fast support.

It's just a domain name??? if you are embarrassed to to be in the biz then get out. I admit it would be an interresting talk with the judge, but it's still legal, and a crime has been committed

My attorney knows what I do for a living, and it would not be me asking for a court order. In Michigan a corporation cannot represent itself, therefore it would be my attorney addressing the court order, which wouldnt matter anyhow. I would still get up there and tell the judge. Its just a business.

I'm not sure if I will recommend registerfly any more.. I had never had any issues with them. However last month I sold 3 domain names and it took almost two weeks to transfer them away from registerfly to the buyers registrar.

I wouldn't touch godaddy with a ten foot pole, they suck ass. I don't feel sorry for anyone that gets screwed with godaddy. As it's been on this board more than enough times about people getting screwed by them.

Usually it takes a court order for this type of transfer, did godaddy tell you if this guy produced some documentation to get it transferred or did he get into your godaddy admin and do it himself

I lost several mainstream domains last year when a company produced a court order and took them away from me, according to icann's toc, when a registrar is provided a court order, they must transfer the domains

Whats scary about this is that it is real easy to get a court order of a domain you don't own without breaking any laws

There is a big difference between a domain like gaypervs.com and say sex.com

Especially if the guy isn't gay. Personally I'd just write the domain name off.. find out where the fucker lives and firebomb his ass.

                                    Damn..
My domains were stolen a week ago..
Apparently, he's not the guy you mentioned. The assh*le who stole my domains is 'Alexander Fedorov' living in Moscow, Russia.

He hacked my email account(provided by free email service) and replied to all the authorization emails sent by registrars..

Anyone who read this post, DON'T PUT any free email address like hotmail.com. Put your POP email address on file.. I used to put my old POP email address, but while I moved to other area, I put the free email address on file, and forgot to update it to my current POP email address..
I still don't know how the fuck the asshole came to know my pass.

If any email account of yours looks weird(i.e.: 1. you get returned emails which you never sent. 2. complaints from people who got spams from the email account..etc..), you should stop using the email account! If you wanna stay on it, you better change your pass to a complicated one(combination of number, alphabet, special characters).

                                    1. Keep your email account safe!

                                    2. Raise the security level on your domain registrar admin panel.

Don't be a victim like me.. It's so frustrating..

About 3 months ago this same guy tried to steal my domains along with 2 of my TGPs.

One of the email addresses he used was [email protected] . . .

If not for DirectNic and some luck the guy would own all my stuff today. GoDaddy did NOTHING to help me and in fact took steps to protect the customer who tried to steal the domains. I also was told that I needed a court order.

This guy got me by hijacking a yahoo email account, he used that to get access to my ICQ number and after he blocked me out of both he transferred my domains away from DirectNic to GoDaddy.

He then posed as me and contacted 2 hosting companies via email and requested ssh and db info for my servers claiming he had a HD failure.

I emailed him and asked what he wanted and he said he would give me back what he stole if I gave him one of the sites he was trying to steal - a 100k TGP.

It took me a few weeks, all my sites were down for 10 days, I started over at close to zero and lost at least a whole week of my time but I was finally able to get the email account, ICQ account and 1 stolen domain back.

                                        This asshole and GoDaddy
