Eric is a police informant. If he feels the need to sue for slander and libel then the detectives in the case will be called to testify along with his codefendants. They will all testify that Eric acted as a police informant. If you are still convinced that he is not a police informant then I think you need to contact the detectives involved with the case and to review the police reports. I'm sure
