    Acacia Infringement Letters

    I am not a Webmaster and received 2 letters from Acacia, not addressed to any company but to me personally. I received one at my home address in California and one at my work address in Toronto.

    Is someone compiling the letters sent to people that have NO INVOLVEMENT what so ever in streaming technologies as a blanket to show that Acacia is just grabbing in the dark. Or should I be contacting them directly to deal with the letters?

    Not sure what to do inquiring for help ....

      Have an attorney handle it.

                      Yes, you should contact Acacia and say you do not
                      have ANY video on your website and you do not
                      lease any videos from another company nor do you
                      link to such thing in the purpose of letting your visitors
                      view them.

                      If you do not do any of this you have nothing to worry about.

                      BUT you should always "answer" a patent claim so you should
                      contact them no matter what.
