            Must just be a mistake.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Bouncing affilte checks is extremly unprofessional and not a mistake any large sponser should make.

If you contacted them wait a day or two for them to get back to you. If it was a wide spread problem I am sure this board would light up.

Posting here may be just slamming them for an honest mistake. Boards should be the last resort

                    I wasnt slamming them.
I didnt say they screwed me out of money yet. I just said that my check bounced, whitch is true. If and when they contact me and send me a new check I will post it here.

As I am sure you can understand I think anyone would be pissed to wake up and find a ass load of money missing from thier bank account.

sending someone a rubber check is a honest mistake? You've got to be kidding me.

If i was one of their affiliates I would run like hell.

It can very well have been a bank error not that they stiffed you. I went through it with another sponsor last month and they sent me the money they owed me plus the bank fees charged to me over the bouncing of the check.

When someone sends a check, it has a routing number and account number on it. ANYONE could steal money out of the bank account very easily. Imagine 5000 affiliates getting these checks. Not all of them will be honest. 1 person steals money from the account by changing the amount of the check or printing up a new one and everyone else's check bounces. No way they could have prevented it.

EDIT: Not saying this happened, but its an example for all you idiots saying stupid things.

Very true, and one more reason sponsors should pay by ePassporte.

That's a mighty big stretch. If it were that easy, checks would be bouncing all over the place.

Blaze, you still thinking about another trip out here? I had a look in the paper for that thing we talked about and there were several. If Jeff is interested, I could clip them and mail them to him.

I agree with most posters, a bounced check is NOT a "mistake."

If they sent him a $200 check when they owed him $2,000 that is a mistake.

When a check bounces, that means they did not have enough money in the bank to cover it. That is a SERIOUS matter. In fact, if they did it intentionally it is a CRIME.

So if the check really did bounce, NastyDollars has some explaining to do.

And if the check did NOT bounce, Blaze better come back and apologize for slandering NastyDollars because this is a very serious charge.

I think a few of the other posts above can answer that question but don't forget bank error as well. Unfortunately it happens more then some would like. Companies that use Sweep accounts are most likely to run into something like that. Welcome to the real world.

I would be pissed to. But the last place I would be is on a board about it. I don't give a fuck how you rationalize it. The company that issued the check should be given at least 24-48 hours to answer you before going public with it. They didn't even answer him yet.

Children, as you mature, you'll understand that Banking errors *do* happen.
why? because generally the likes of *YOU* end up working there when you fail at the internet.
If it were a bank error and you come here bitching without contacting nastydollars first, they should send you a new check along with a pink slip.

If he says it bounced, it bounced. The only question is why. I doubt a program like NastyDollars is out of money or intentionally screwing webmasters but that doesn't change the fact that money he thought he had is gone.

ANYONE could steal money out of the bank account very easily. Imagine 5000 affiliates getting these checks. Not all of them will be honest. 1 person steals money from the account by changing the amount of the check or printing up a new one and everyone else's check bounces. No way they could have prevented it.

That can happen. I am not sure if there checks are control pay activated or protected in any way but if this was the case I think more people would be posting that there checks have bounced. So many people promote them it would be wide spread.

I would think a bank error if anything. Whether the funds werent swept into the operating account when his check was set to clear or whatever. I am sure they will work it out.

And as a serious matter I expect a promt reply from them. Not the clandestant "Well get back to you" that I recieved when I called them.

The company that issued the check should be given at least 24-48 hours to answer you before going public with it

It's all part of the business.

Just chill till you talk to them, if they give you the runaround and week later you don't have a new check, have at em, till then show some proffesional courtesy and stop acting like such a nubie.
