I wasnt slamming them.
I didnt say they screwed me out of money yet. I just said that my check bounced, whitch is true. If and when they contact me and send me a new check I will post it here.
As I am sure you can understand I think anyone would be pissed to wake up and find a ass load of money missing from thier bank account.

It can very well have been a bank error not that they stiffed you. I went through it with another sponsor last month and they sent me the money they owed me plus the bank fees charged to me over the bouncing of the check.
When someone sends a check, it has a routing number and account number on it. ANYONE could steal money out of the bank account very easily. Imagine 5000 affiliates getting these checks. Not all of them will be honest. 1 person steals money from the account by changing the amount of the check or printing up a new one and everyone else's check bounces. No way they could have prevented it.
EDIT: Not saying this happened, but its an example for all you idiots saying stupid things.

Very true, and one more reason sponsors should pay by ePassporte.

That's a mighty big stretch. If it were that easy, checks would be bouncing all over the place.
Blaze, you still thinking about another trip out here? I had a look in the paper for that thing we talked about and there were several. If Jeff is interested, I could clip them and mail them to him.
I agree with most posters, a bounced check is NOT a "mistake."
If they sent him a $200 check when they owed him $2,000 that is a mistake.
When a check bounces, that means they did not have enough money in the bank to cover it. That is a SERIOUS matter. In fact, if they did it intentionally it is a CRIME.
So if the check really did bounce, NastyDollars has some explaining to do.
And if the check did NOT bounce, Blaze better come back and apologize for slandering NastyDollars because this is a very serious charge.

I think a few of the other posts above can answer that question but don't forget bank error as well. Unfortunately it happens more then some would like. Companies that use Sweep accounts are most likely to run into something like that. Welcome to the real world.
I would be pissed to. But the last place I would be is on a board about it. I don't give a fuck how you rationalize it. The company that issued the check should be given at least 24-48 hours to answer you before going public with it. They didn't even answer him yet.

Send me a check. There are a few people I could give the info to and your account would be drained within minutes. Next time you get a sponsor check, try doing a check join on one of their sites with their checking info. I bet 80% of the time it works.
Children, as you mature, you'll understand that Banking errors *do* happen.
why? because generally the likes of *YOU* end up working there when you fail at the internet.
If it were a bank error and you come here bitching without contacting nastydollars first, they should send you a new check along with a pink slip.

If he says it bounced, it bounced. The only question is why. I doubt a program like NastyDollars is out of money or intentionally screwing webmasters but that doesn't change the fact that money he thought he had is gone.

Happens all the time when companies have multiple accounts or a bank has a hold on a deposit that the company wrote checks against assuming the deposit was clear.

That can happen. I am not sure if there checks are control pay activated or protected in any way but if this was the case I think more people would be posting that there checks have bounced. So many people promote them it would be wide spread.
I would think a bank error if anything. Whether the funds werent swept into the operating account when his check was set to clear or whatever. I am sure they will work it out.

Well there is no doubt. I even called the bank. The check was NSF.
A stats error, is a honest mistake. Some server downtime, is a honest mistake. Bouncing a check is a serious matter. And as a serious matter I expect a promt reply from them. Not the clandestant "Well get back to you" that I recieved when I called them.

We all know check joins are dangerous. That's not the point. I stand by my statement: if it were that easy, checks would be bouncing all over the place. If I send you a check to give to professional check frauders it isn't really a fair test, is it? That's like saying, "Send me your car and I bet I know some people who strip it for parts in five minutes." So what? That's not representative of normal people.

So you expect someone with no knowledge of the bank situation to give you an answer when the people that do know are not in the office? Your telepathy skills must be great, but i doubt the people at NastyDollars have them.
it's just a bounced cheque sucka , if it's only thing that brings ya money to survive so stop crying here , call them , email them , call your bank. if you are legit and everything is clear with the money , why you have to worry and bitchin so much ? chill dude
...but still im having memories of high speed, when the cops crash, pushing a cock into my ass, while my tiny pecker blasts.

I for one appreciate a "head up" when there is a problem regardless of whose mistake it is. Then I can decide whether I want to make my deposit or wait for a few days to see what plays out. Maybe it was an isolated incident, maybe it is widespread. By posting this, if it is a large scale problem perharps by some of us not depositing our checks yet, will actually save the sponsor some money in the long run.
I'm sure it wasn't intentional but it is important information.
Thanks for posting this.

of course.
children rarely have a rational train of thought.

has anyone thought that they might have canceled his account for some reason and put a stop payment on that check? that would cause it to bounce right?
not sayin this did happen, but it could of right?
want to buy this spot for cheap? it is of course for sale. long term deals are always the best bet. brand0n/ at/ a o l dot commies.

You make a very valid point about communication. It is important for us to communicate. I think the key is HOW we communicate.
Instead of a quick rant the post could have read. "Problem with Nasty Dollars check.. Anyone else have a check returned for NSF from pay period xxxxx. I put a call in and will keep you posted on the outcome."
This would tell us there "may" be a problem without getting into a slam fest on the company before we even hear there side of the story.
Good point you made regardless. I stand corrected. Perhaps there isnt a problem going to the boards early on provided its done properly.
cheers

Very true! For future reference that would definately be the way to post something. But DO post something!
Banks fuck up all the time, I average 1 sponsor check bounce a year and it's always due to bank error, 2 of 5 times it's my bank and the other 3 it's their bank, and I always get a call or letter form the bank at fault. It's all part of the business.
Just chill till you talk to them, if they give you the runaround and week later you don't have a new check, have at em, till then show some proffesional courtesy and stop acting like such a nubie.
To prevent fraud, every single check cut by nastydollars is verified by our bank. Last week the bank received a partial verification list so they returned a handful of checks. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The checks are good please, re-deposit them.
Also, you will notice that a couple of days this week signups were low. This was due to one of our billers having problems w/their processing bank. Although this is totally out of our control we have credited signups to everyone. Your traffic is safe with us and you will always be paid. Any questions email [email protected]
