Playful sarcasm doesn't read well on a message board. That's why I threw in a smiley

Points taken. I'm always open for advice. If you feel I've made an error in judgement, I'd hope you'll make suggestions privately next time, so we can avoid this kind of confusion.

In case anyone was following this thread, the problem is now resolved. Our join page is now back up and tracking webmaster referrals accurately.

We are still not going to automatically approve everyone, with the new Visa regs it makes sense to be more careful.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

                Yeah, it's back.

too bad I lost my momentum to join. Was so interested that day.

Anyway, I guess "for a operation that big", they don't care an tiny affiliate like me.

not true at all hyatla, tanker, zebra, and I all tried to contact you. You are the one that didn't respond to us...

We love small affiliates, they are our lifeblood. I'd rather be supported by a large base of small affiliates than be hanging from the thread of a few large ones. Threads can be cut easily. Its not fair to punish us for trying to control fraud. I think we've proven here that we listen to our webmasters and act on their input.

                    Thank you.

Sorry I wasn't available. And sorry I sounded ridicule.

You sound to be a great man, and Phoenix is a great place.

Hope to see some of you at the show in santa monica.

Wow, I'll call bullshit on this one.

If you've only got the momentum to join a program you think is going to make you money at a specific time or day, then there's something wrong with your thinking.

The companies that are going to keep on running affiliate programs are going to be more and more selective with who they accept traffic from, and rightfully so. Someone who has spent the last few years building their business isn't going to be foolish enough to allow a few bad apples to kill the tree.

                        they better

LS is showing that they not only want traffic, they want GOOD traffic.

Decisions are made in business. People might not believe this, but a system cannot be created/changed with the snap of your fingers, there is a process?some things need to be done/changed immediately and there is a way to handle day to day operations in the interim until the system is complete.

Steve has shown time and time again to take care of his affiliates. He is not only a good friend but a good client of ours that has proven to run a good business, which imo is very impressive. Not all of his decisions are made to encourage the ?fast cash? that has crippled many a business, but they add value on a long-term basis, which makes a difference to the affiliates that still get rebills on sales they sent 2 years ago

This was an excellent decision; one that many other programs should take note of?the same concept as a car alarm, a fraud deterrent. As I mentioned earlier, you better be very careful if you leave an open door. All it takes is one bad affiliate and one day of their traffic.
If you need a good company for check writing services, then check out checkissuing, and for webhosting, check out Phoenix NAP
